CLO V CONFERENCE THEME
Dissenting Voices in Canadian Private Law
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for participants to critically examine prevailing doctrines and to explore perspectives—doctrinal, theoretical, or comparative—that challenge dominant understandings.
Topics will include, but are not limited to, dissenting judicial opinions, underappreciated doctrinal developments, and structural critiques of private law in theory and practice. Graduate students and early-career scholars are strongly encouraged to apply.
The conference will support meaningful professional development, mentorship, and visibility for emerging voices in the field.
